I offer a variety of private and semi-private lessons at your home, or at the location where training is needed. Please click here for rates and fees. Below are some of the unique services I offer in the greater Toronto area:

Customized Private Lessons

Customized private lessons can be created based on both you, and your dog’s needs. Depending on what you’re hoping to achieve, and your commitment to your dog’s training, you may need weekly, bi-weekly or even monthly sessions. After each session you will get a detailed email with homework and tips to work on in between each session.

Below are just some of the areas I specialize in:

Before Getting Your New Dog Or Puppy:

Puppy Prepper
Getting a new puppy? This is extremely exciting, but can also be very overwhelming. I can help you by coming to your house for a 2-hour consultation to make sure that your house is ready for your new puppy. This session comes complete with a recommended to buy list, some beginner training tips, and an additional $25 off my Puppies First Steps package.
Rescue / Adult Dog Prepper
Rescuing an adult dog? This can be as overwhelming as getting a new puppy, but can be even more rewarding. I can help you through preparing your house for new rescue dog. This session comes complete with a recommended to buy list, some rescues dog training tips, and an additional $25 off my Rescue Dog Behaviour Modification package.

Your New Puppy Is Finally Home!

Puppies First Steps
These sessions are specifically designed to help you socialize and teach your puppy critical lessons before they are 4 months of age. These sessions include incredibly crucial lessons on teaching your puppy to be gentle with their teeth, potty training, and manners around food. These first steps are what could make or break your puppy from becoming a well mannered and manageable adult dog.
Doggy Teenagehood
Like humans, dogs go through an adolescent phase too. Between the ages of about 6 to 18 months, your sweet, well mannered pup can turn into a ball of terror! These sessions will help you and your pup get through these tough times smoothly.

Preparing For A Second Dog

Getting a second dog can be extremely fulfilling for both you and your current furbaby, but can also end in disaster if you haven’t prepared for it adequately. Its extremely important that you prepare your current pup to be trained to the best of their abilities before bringing a second dog home, otherwise, your current problems will only become doubled once your second bundle of joy arrives.

Dog Park Etiquette

This is for every dog owner who would love to learn about the body language and signs of a dog that could be a potential danger to your dog at the off leash park. Unfortunately, not all dogs that frequent the dog park are friendly or safe to be around.

For those of you who have the dog that you might think is a danger to others; Does your dog have trouble at the dog park getting along with other dogs? Does your dog get into fights, or just plain old not listen to you when you call them? Do you have a leash reactive dog and you are unsure if they are capable of being polite with other dogs off leash at the dog park? I can help you get your dog socialized and we’ll behaved while at the dog park.

Walk & Train

Has your dog been rejected by a dog walker due to behavioural issues? I offer dog walk & train sessions to get your dog prepared for walking with a regular dog walker. I simultaneously walk and train your dog for one hour, working with any specific issues they might have while walking on a leash. The goal of these sessions is to eventually get your dog back into a regular dog walkers pack.

Don’t Live In Toronto?

Don’t worry, I offer Skype Consultations. For these consultations to be effective, it is important that you have some videos of your pups behaviour that you would like to modify. Skype consultations must be done over video chat, so that I can see your dog’s living environment, and see how you and your family interact with your pup while at home.

The Hairy Dog Mother

Kristina’s goal through training is to help as many dogs as she can live a balanced and tranquil life, full of love and happiness. She believes that with the right methods, any dog can be rehabilitated, and that no dog is too emotionally damaged to make loyal and loving family members.
